At age 10 I was asked to illustrate a novel about a father and daughter’s road trip through the US. The work included 11 original illustrations.

One of 11 illustrations for It’s a Lackluster Life
Age 10

“A remnant of a bygone era; a being bent on casting the world in its dark shadow.”
I originally designed the Stag to compliment the Bird of Prey, and I intend on drawing more animal skull-themed entities as a part of a series.
2017

An earlier design for an original character. This first design is rooted more heavily in specific real world elements and smaller details, whereas my second Bird of Prey illustration features a much more generalized, ambiguous design with strong black and white contrast..
2016

“Antagonism takes many forms, some familiar, some feathered.”
2017

This was a test sketch for a story idea.
"Though the world is far emptier than it once was, there's plenty to capture the interest of a young, intrepid mind on another of many daily adventures—so long as she's brought back home safely before dark."
2017

"As the season turns from Autumn to Winter, Alice knows the birds can get just as cold as she does."
2017

"Villagers watch in awe from atop their rooves, uncertain of what these creatures could be or to where they may travel, privileged to have caught even only a fleeting glimpse."
I attempted to use Copic marker to color the night sky, and though I'm not thrilled with the visible strokes, I think it can be cool to see where the pen/brush moved in an ink drawing. To me it can make a piece feel more organic.
2017

Father’s Day gift for my dad, a fan of The Simpsons and the video game Bioshock
2016

2018

This was my first time ever working with fine charcoal. It was very messy and I had to take a considerable amount of time to clean the piece up after it was finished, but I enjoyed working with it. I sat in front of a mirror for an hour or so and drew myself.
